Grundstrom Family along with the Carlsrud Family
This week David Whited interviews new Supervising Coordinators Kevin & Jenney Grundstrom from Hudson, WI along with this week’s Rising Stars Executive Coordinators Scott and April Carlsrud from New Richmond, WI.
Kevin & Jenney Grundstrom’s evaluation process of Market America was a little different from what I would consider the norm… At that time Kevin was a financial planner and was asked to evaluate the UnFranchise by a friend. Kevin immediately saw the “Power in the Plan“… you see as a financial planner he could only help a percentage of
…people who had assets at the end of the month to invest to create some sort of nest egg…it was a business that I could actually find everybody and anybody that was willing to think outside of a box, could create their own financial destiny which is a wonderful thing.
David’s observation which is seen by us everyday was given what has been taking place over the past couple of years in the economy, there are many who no longer have much to work with in which to build that nest egg for their retirement. Unfortunatly, Kevin has seen many who have never taken time to become students of their own finances and this is where Kevin has been able to make a huge difference in people’s lives.
With his background and education skills, Kevin really provides the listeners a great perspective on how the UnFranchise really hits the ball out of the park in terms of reversing their current financial game plan.
… the reality of life is if you aren’t getting 7, 8, 9% pay increase in your J.O.B or your job, you are really going backwards with inflationary numbers the way they are.
Kevin gives it to you as it really is… a reality check that is not intended to bring you down, but lift you up… way up! An extraordinary couple Kevin & Jenney are which you will learn from this interview; Kevin really helps you understand what is important… not where the money is, or where it was, but the importance in knowing where money is going… luminescent observation in what he saw in Market America’s vision and their focus on the future and what they see, and where we should be going… what the future is and “where money is going.”
Kevin provides a truly BRILLIANT corporate perspective in analyzing Market America… if you can’t read financials, if you can’t understand the Annual Report, you are not alone… many of us can’t, but you will certainly feel right at home when Kevin explains in terms we can understand, the view from a corporate level background. Best advice Kevin gives people evaluating the UnFranchise? Find a way it won’t work… and don’t take it lightly!
What is exciting about these maLegacyBuilders calls are how each interview brings new and interesting perspectives. It is so refreshing to hear success stories and perspectives from people with whom we can all relate. Not from fancy, slick talking sales pitching marketers we often hear coming from companies trying to sell us, but from people just like us… every day folks like Scott and April Carlsrud who are a shining example of the average American. In a town of around 1,000 people in northern Minnesota, they were not really looking and to be honest, at first Scott thought it was “One of Those Things” even though no one had told him what “One of Those Things” really was, but when he was challenged to see how it cannot work it placed a challenge he just could not pass up.
Success is not only the financial wealth you accumulate, it is also about being a leader, improving your relationships, living healthfully, and making a real difference in the world.
From products to business… it was all amazing to them and the one thing that Scott found really interesting? It was how his customers kept coming back because the products really did work… and isn’t that what business are all about? As Scott and David were wrapping up the call they reminded me of Simon & Garfunkel’s song “Keep the Customer Satisfied“… this is what Market America has accomplished with their “unique” lines of products, services and their business model which makes it so duplicatable for “Average Individuals” to develop UnFranchise businesses, doing a fabulous job in making it one of the fastest, most successful business building models… possibly ever in the history of business.
Great Interviews David… and as a reward… enjoy Simon & Garfunkel’s song…
